Shelly Damon, our medicial aesthetician, laser technician, and electrologist, performs a variety of skin care services. She can help your skin look its very best, and give guidance on skin care for those who want to maximize the beauty of their skin.
She gets her results through a combination of daily skin care regimens and the use of safe, gentle, in-office procedures. We also offer carefully chosen medical-grade skin care products for sale.
Skin care consultation
An initial skin care aesthetics consultation with Shelly is FREE. She will review your daily skin care regimen, as well as giving you detailed information about potential aesthetic options. Whether your goal is to improve the texture of your skin, reduce current signs of aging, or simply to slow down the accumulation of signs of aging of the skin, she can help make sure you have the right information.
Light chemical peels
Glycolic acid, salicylic acid ("beta lifts") and polyhydroxy acid peels remove the superficial dead layer of skin and help the skin rejuvenate itself, restoring luster, evening out pigmentation irregularities, and helping to erase fine lines. These are very mild chemical peels with no down time -- after a peel you can go right back to your normal daily activities. These can benefit acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and skin irregularities caused by years of sun damage.
Microdermabrasion
This is a very popular procedure in which the superficial dead layer of skin is mechanically removed by a stream of tiny abrasive particles. This results in immediate softening of the skin texture. Microdermabrasion benefits many of the same conditions as light chemical peels.
Electrology
In addition to being a medical aesthetician, Shelly is a registered electrologist. Electrology is an excellent way to remove hairs permanently. It can be done anywhere on the body, and is the treatment of choice for eyebrows and for white, blonde or red hair (since laser is not a good option in those cases).
Facial massage
Shelly also now offers facial massage, which helps relieve sinus pressure, alleviates headaches, eases tension, aids in clearing dermatitis, soothes TMJ, and promotes relaxation.
