Dermatologic Soak
In the tub:
Fill tub halfway with cool to tepid (lukewarm) water.
Salt: 1 cup
White vinegar: 1/2 cup to 1 cup
Soak 5-10 minutes
Rinse with cool water
Apply cream or ointment immediately, if recommended
In a bowl or with cloths:
Salt: 2 teaspoons
White vinegar: 2 teaspoons
Water: 1 quart (cool to tepid)
Soak 5-10 minutes
Rinse with cool water
Pat dry
Apply cream or ointment immediately, if recommended
